Becky leverages a rich background as both a business consultant and an Industrial-Organizational Psychologist to help organizations make decisions around the selection, promotion, and development of key executives. In all areas of her work, clients appreciate her bottom-line analyses, penetrating insights, and ability to translate key concepts into meaningful business outcomes. Her clients include H.I.G. Capital, Madison Dearborn Partners, Sterling Partners, Citadel Investment Group, and NEWAsurion, among others.
During her career, Becky has conducted over a thousand executive-level assessments helping CEOs make smart decisions about their human capital. In 2009 and 2010, Becky led Green Peak’s rigorous study — in collaboration with Cornell University — exploring what matters most in hiring CEOs and senior executives. Her work was featured in numerous publications, including: The Washington Post, Investor’s Business Daily, The Globe and Mail, American Management Association, and HR Executive. She is a leading expert at helping companies pick the right people.
She has also coached numerous leaders, enabling them to achieve peak performance. On a larger scale, her strategic design and implementation of talent management systems has helped facilitate succession planning, and her broader background in organizational assessment and structural design provides useful tools to help CEOs meet strategic business objectives.
Most recently, Becky was a high-performing consultant with Sperduto & Associates, Inc., a boutique firm located in Atlanta, GA. There she became a trusted advisor to executives in various Fortune 500 companies, and high quality work built her reputation for consulting around people issues with a strong return on investment. Becky’s key clients included such notable firms as Mercer Consulting, SunTrust Banks, Inc., and Unisource Energy Corporation.
Becky graduated summa cum laude from the University of Georgia’s Honors Program, earning a B.A. in Psychology and a minor in Chinese. She worked in the brokerage industry for several years before moving to Chicago to earn her M.A. and Ph.D. in Industrial-Organizational Psychology from DePaul University. While in graduate school, she consulted with several not-for-profit organizations and municipalities on organizational strategy and training initiatives. She also worked for three years at Advocate Health Care, designing and implementing strategies to improve executive performance and organizational effectiveness. Becky has co-authored a book chapter on negotiation and presented numerous professional papers, including pieces on productive conflict in the workplace and maximizing healthcare outcomes. Her true passion is helping people and organizations maximize the productivity and the satisfaction of their relationships.
She currently resides in Charlotte, NC where she serves on the Board of the Blue and Gold Foundation.
