No. And there’s good reason for this. Accredited programs have restrictions. We believe these restrictions are in place often times for good reason, particularly for certain professions. We also know that educational experience at an accredited university is not indicative of a successful entrepreneur. And often true learning unfolds organically as a culture of learning is cultivated by the participants and facilitators, following the course of inquiry, investigation, testing assumptions, experimenting, reflecting and integrating new insights. For these reasons, a prescribed structure is not a good fit for what we are offering. With that said, we do offer certificates and badges in our 7 Core Disciplines, a portfolio that demonstrates your learning as well as the opportunity to earn an Open Masters. The Open Masters is a partner program to Mycelium which was developed for those who value learning over a degree. To find out more about the Open Masters, click HERE.

We get this question a lot. While we believe Mycelium is a valuable and necessary educational experience for all ages, we are prototyping our program with 18-35 year olds. With that said, while the 9-month program focuses on this age group, we have plenty of offerings for all ages and often work with other learning institutions and communities to help integrate some elements of our programs. To see what we’re currently offering, click on our calendar. To inquire about working with Mycelium to offer Mycelium-based programs in your school or community contact us here.

One of the reasons we exist is to help you with this.
Good question! While there is no precedent to answer this question with authority, it is clear that many employers are voicing their difficulty in finding employees who think critically, take initiative, communicate effectively and know how to make things happen. We will help you build these capacities and articulate them to prospective employers should you go that route. Here’s a great article in Fast Company about the value of intrapreneurs and here’s another one in Forbes.
